MoU KUA-PPAS will Be Signed Next Week

The discussion on general policy for 2016 City Budget (APBD) priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA PPAS) has entering finalized phase. Next week, the signing of KUA-PPAS's Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between executive and legislative can already be done.

“The discussion has touched final phase. I think the MoU can be signed next week,” said Prasetio Edi Marsudi, Chairman of Jakarta City Council (DPRD), Friday (11/13).

It is quite different from previous year. Whereabouts, the proposed program and activity of regional working units (SKPD) was discussed in detail until the third unit.

2016 APBD Predicted to Touch Rp 66 T

“In the first discussion, the executive proposed Rp 73 trillion for KUA-PPAS, yet it was cut by Rp 10.5 trillion,” he uttered.

He continued, the budget cuts was done due to Tax Service Department (DPP) merely approved local revenue at Rp 32 trillion from initial target reached Rp 37 trillion.

During the process, they back to adjust the budget with planned program. Thus, there is a direct expenditure cuts by Rp 10 trillion and indirect expenditure budget by Rp 500 billion.

“The amount of KUA-PPAS is estimated touching Rp 66 trillion,” he disclosed.
